Karin,
I am praying for you in Iowa! Our little girl, Gracie, also has a single ventricle with a host of other heart defects and we have lost count of the number of surgeries she has had...the next one is possibly the fontan procedure. God, in His way and in His time, has worked miracles in her tiny body. We trust Him with Gracie as you trust Him with your precious little girl. We documented Gracie's journey at journeytome.com. It's public under journey to gracie yan and he fubai. We have switched over to a blog http://oppseven.blogspot.com/, but most of Gracie's heart stuff is on the journey to me site.
Praying for you, for your family, for healing, for rest, for peace through this storm!
Much, much love,
Gayle

Karin,
We are praying for Kate this morning. It was so sweet, all my little ones this morning mentioned Kate & Jake in their morning prayers for breakfast:) Praying that today will continue to improve, specifically in the area of blood pressure and fluid. Our little one (bio) born with heart issues struggled with these two things for awhile in the NICU and I remember it so well.
Blessings,
Gayly

Karin and Family,

Praying for the peace that passeth all understanding for you and your children as you travel down this road with Kate. God holds her perfectly in His hands:) Specifically praying for the fluids issue and that the fever would subside. Fever after surgery is pretty common (our Kate had one too) but hopefully it has run its course. Also praying for rest for you and your husband and freedom from other health issues while you are away from the family.

Karin,
We are praying for your precious Kate here in Montana! Our 11 year old son, AJ, also has a single ventricle. He was born in Korea and came home to us at 2 years old.

I am in Woodstock, GA and have been following you and praying consistantly for little Kate, as well as, you and your husband. May God continue to strengthen you both, overwhelm you with His nearness, and bless your family at home as they await you safe return. And, Jehova Rapha touch little Kate and restore her health for His glory!
