Kate is still the same--overall doing pretty much as expected. She is holding steady, still struggling a bit with her blood pressure and dumping too much fluid. Her fever has continued to go up to 102-103, so every time it goes up we pack her in ice. Her night nurse decided to try wet washcloths since Kate reacted to the ice by thrashing around and wouldn't stay on top of it.
The washcloths are much more comfortable for her, and seem to be working fairly well. Her back and head are still pretty hot, but the fever comes down to a manageable range with the wet cloths on her neck and under her armpits.
Sporting her neck cloth....
They have kept her pretty sedated today and will continue to do that through the night. Hopefully she will rest well. She rested pretty well all day today. Now it's my turn. :)
Thank you all for praying and for sending your locations! It was so touching to read your messages and to know that you were all taking the time to pray for a little girl whom most of you don't even know. THANK YOU!! I wrote down all the locations, but will also print your messages out when we get home. Blessings to all of you!
