Another One Bites the Dust

Jordan is the latest to succumb to the dreaded plague. Molly is better, Chloe has had a rough day and Jillian seems to have gotten the mildest version in the family.

The doctor's office will not give us any Tamiflu until we are actually sick. Darn... So, I guess we will just wait to see if/when SaraGrace and Kate get it and take them to the doctor immediately. I just got back from the store, where I stocked up on several boxes of chewable T*lenol and Ib*profin, so that if I get sick, the kids will still have meds to take.

I have come to the conclusion that it's better to just get it over with. I would rather have it now than have it ruin Thanksgiving or Christmas.

Oh goodness, my friend--I know it is so yucky having sick kiddos. But I have to agree--get it over and done with!

Hang in there. Hope all the kids feel so much better really soon.

Gorgeous photo, as usual!

I'm so sorry about your sick kiddos. It is SO HARD to see them suffer. And it's WAY HARD on Mama...Way hard. :) Just keep your HazMat suit on cause finding someone to take care of YOU is difficult, as you know!

I'm so sorry. Please know that I'm thinking of you. Last week at this time, I was sleeping on Josie's floor worrying. Take care of yourself!!

Hang in there! I heard the adults aren't getting it as much because of the big flu outbreak in the 70's. Praying mama stays well!

what a great perspective Karin.
Wish ya'll lived closer.
Wouldn't it be great if we could just live in our own bloggy state?

Karin,
I am surprised they won't give you the Tamiflu unless someone gets sick. Last year they gave Paul a couple of doses because we all got the flu and to keep him from getting it. Then this year, my girlfriend's son got it and ended up in the hospital and they gave the two school age children Tamiflu as a precaution. I guess it's all where you live. Can you call Kate and SaraGrace's cardiologist? Maybe they would take a more proactive approach. Especially for little Katie. They say the flu is hardest on the littlest ones even with out the complication of heart issues.

I am praying for you!!! My Dumpling #2 has a mild case but he's got it weird. His legs are all cramped up at times and he can't walk. So hard for a little one so used to being very active. He's going to be home with me again tomorrow since he ran a slight fever again tonight.

Hugs!
Kimberlie

You guys are so sweet. :) For some reason in Mass., they aren't giving out Tamiflu--even if you are already sick you have to beg and grovel. I think it's because there isn't much available, but I'm not sure.

Holly--yeah--a bloggy state...woohoo that would be fun. Or how about a Bloggy nursing home when we are old? hee
