Tue. Afternoon Update

Looks like we will be spending the night tonight. Darn... The doctor doesn't like the look of the rash on her leg--red and hot and a bit swollen. Her Echo went well and I am waiting for the doctor to come to tell me the results.

She is soooo loopy from the medicine they gave her. Too funny! She keeps saying things that make no sense and can't sit up without falling over. I have been cracking up at her and she is too loopy to get offended. The little stinker won't take a nap, though.

More later...

Karin,
I have been reading through your updates this afternoon. I have been praying since yesterday. My little princess got a staph infection from a bug bit last month and it was not fun. I can't imagine how much scarier it is when you have a child whose body absolutely can not be immuno-compromised or it has serious reprecussions. Praying for your sweet little Katie-bug!!!

Drat. I was hoping to read that you were being released soon and going home. I'm glad you scored your own private room, but I know you are both ready to be home. Please know that I'm thinking of you. Hugs!!

So glad to read that the ECHO went well. Better to be funny loopy than bad reaction from the meds, right?! :)

Hope she doesn't have to stay too much longer there. Get better real soon little one.

Oh that is such a bummer you have to stay in the hospital tonight. I know you must be longing to go home. Maybe tomorrow, friend. Hang in there.

Love and hugs.
