In Memory...

...of our fallen hero's and their families...thank you. Thank you for your sacrifice, your service, your willingness to lay down your life so that we can be free.

In memory of my cousin, Jim, who was killed in Iraq on Thanksgiving Day 2006, and my grandfather, who fought in WWII and came home to raise a family.

We took the kids to the Memorial Day parade in our town because I wanted the kids to understand what the day is about.

To all of our brave military men and women, we stand...

...and salute you

We are thankful that you fought for our Freedom

and that you provided us with a safe haven.

Your sacrifice made it possible for us to have a family.

We are thankful to live in the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave

oh my don't know me and I can't even remember how I found you... I think when we began praying about another china adoption and felt lead to heart defect maybe...anyway as a military wife who is once again getting ready to send my husband to iraq, and a friend of a military wife who almost lost her husband in iraq and an acquaintance of many who have lost their husbands in service, it really does bless my heart to know that many many americans do appreciate it.
God is so faithful, so good to us and our nation has been so blessed.
Your children are beautiful. thank you for teaching them to honor those who serve. The Lord has blessed you greatly with such a beautiful inheritance.
