Jeff and I went up to the hospital last night to see baby Mason. His surgery went well. He has been having some issues with blood pressure and oxygen saturation levels, so he will have to stay on the vent for a few days. He was sleeping when I saw him and is so amazingly tiny and precious. It is quite a challenge emotionally for his parents to see him have to go back on the vent, morphine and get a new chest tube. They cannot hold him when he is on the vent, and you can imagine how hard that is for them.
His mama will be spending most of the week alone as daddy, sister, and grandma head home for a few days.
