We made it to Beijing!

Our flight was..um...long, although uneventful. Thinking I would blissfully fall asleep, courtesy of Ambien, I was distressed to discover that it was missing from my carry-on. For me, flying to China without Ambien, is the equivalent of giving birth without medication. ha

We hear that our kids are doing well so far, although Jake has a cold. I woke up at 5AM with a migraine, but my medication is helping.

We are heading out now to visit the kids in the LWB foster care program, and will be gone all day. I have their little gift packs ready and I'm looking forward to seeing all of them! We will also be seeing Kate's foster mom today.

Just FYI - my email is working, but extremely slow. Thank you so much for your prayers.

I am so glad that you made it there safe and sound. Give all the Shunyi kids a hug from me.
