Yet Another Update on the Fundraiser :)

I have been told that some of you are having trouble getting Pay-Pal to go through. If that is the case, please leave a comment on the blog (or reply to the email delivery for those of you who read the blog that way). I will get back to you with our address so that you can mail the money rather than pay by credit card.

Since Jeff's employer triple matches our donations to a 501(c) 3 charity, each $11 set we sell actually raises $44 for baby Joy!!

We have sold 18 sets so far, which means that two little girls have raised $792 with a simple sewing project!! It so reminds me of the story of the two loaves and fishes that the little boy brought to Jesus. Jesus took those and multiplied them enough to feed a crowd of over 5000 people.

Thank you for being a part of this!! We would LOVE to keep going and get to $1000!!! We are heading back to the fabric store today in hopes that some of you might still be thinking about shopping early for a child on your Christmas list who needs a blanket and pillow for a doll or favorite stuffed animal.

A heart surgery in China costs about $5000. Do we dare to hope we could raise that much? We have the time to make the blanket sets if you will help us spread the word.

We will get some more sets made today and post the fabric styles later.

Karen - Just placed an order for two blanket sets but didn't see a place to specify what we would like fabric to be. We would like one to be camo. and the other to be something girlie??? I trust you to pick it out for Ayla - Olivia would like the camo. because her favorite baby doll is a boy. :o)

Go for the $5,000.00, girls! You've only begun to tap resources for people to buy your blankets and pillows. With God, ALL things are possible!!! I'm going to post on my blog for you, too!!

I want to buy a set but will wait to see what new fabric styles you come home with today (although I like Style A from the original batch so that will be my fallback choice). I also want to be able to mail you the check instead of using paypal since you offered. :)

Great idea! Great way to promote a servants' heart in your girls!!!

Keep on sewing you amazing Mama you!
