Yeah, and the next day you can get in the same suit and they still won't notice....Well maybe DH will.
Oh I love this - just what I have been thinking today. In the house, I have realized my job is all about getting things back to the status quo - get the clothes clean again, put things away again, get everyone fed again, sweep the floor again...over and over! So different to my other job (veterinarian) - you get stuff done there, and it's done for good. Thank goodness motherhood is all about the kids, and not the state of the house.
Charlie Brown was wise beyond his years, to be sure. Hopefully, one fine day, what we pour into our kids and family now, will surface in the lives of our children and they will emerge as willing servants wherever God may call them.Lisa
I am hanging this on my fridge!! Amen to putting on the same suit the next day too! I actually haven't opened my closet door this week. I just put on clothes I pull out of the dryer. Why bother putting them away just wear them!! Being in a new house don't you love how you work in one room and feel so great when you leave it only to go into the living room to find a tornado has been through!! sheri
Hilarious! The mantra of many mothers I would say!!Have a great weekend and Happy 4th!!
Making me laugh this morning! My husband and I were just talking about that. I think not being at home for a month could be part of it.Love,Lyn
That quote describes my life most of the time! SO funny!!!Thanks for the humor to start out my day.
Funny and oh so true sometimes. Thank goodness we don't serve earthly masters but a heavenly one who notices everything we say and do! :)
I have always loved Charlie Brown!
