Our Little Man Graduates

I honestly don't really 'get' the whole Kindergarten graduation thing. "Back in my day..." they didn't have graduation until you finished high school.

Jeff asked me when the Kindergarten grad thing started and I told him I had no idea. To which he asked, "I difficult IS it to pass kindergarten?"

He cracks me up!

But it was a big deal at school and the teachers put a lot of work into it. It was a really sweet celebration.
Here they come, walking slowly to "Pomp and Circumstance."
{And as a small aside, I would like to know who approved the mauve paint on the walls.
Just sayin... It's bothersome.}
Aren't they cute?!
God has great plans for you, my little man.
Saying his line in the program.
Getting his diploma
A happy wave to Mama and her ever present camera
So proud of you, sweet boy! Keep up the great work!
{Poor little guy was soaking with sweat. It was about 34 million degrees in the unairconditioned gym. We went outside for the photo so that it could be one degree cooler. ugh.}

SO adorable!!

But yeah, no kindergarten graduation for me either...or my kids.

Jeff's comment totally cracked me up. But if the saying is true..."All I ever needed to know I learned in kindergarten"...then I suppose having graduated from it, we could have be done with schooling at that time, right? In some cases, it might be best that way. LOL I'm pretty sure I didn't learn anything after that informative year.

Anyway, congratulations to your little man.

Oh and the mauve walls were very bothersome. Very. Perhaps you should sign yourself up for the decorating committee...I know you've got some extra time on your hands.

Congratulations to your little guy!! He is cute in his cap and gown!!

No kindergarten graduations for us either!! It must have started sometime in the 16 years- ha!

So very sorry about the mauve walls- most likely it was done 16 years ago before the graduations started!

You need to schedule a painting party!

He is looking more grown up. I think he's lost his "baby" face, Karin! What a sweet, handsome boy Jordan is. Tell him I have a really cute Kindergartener too that maybe he'd like to meet someday...hehe.
