Zoey's "Pros-other" Leg

Today was the big day! Woohoo!! It almost wasn't. Chloe stayed home from school sick and I wasn't sure we were going to be able to make the trip. However...faced with an oncoming snowstorm and the feeling that we are on the verge of a house full of sick kids, I decided to go.

I'm so glad I did.

Zoey is now in possession of her "pros-other" leg! It only needed a few minor adjustments and she was good to go.
Our first it!! It is stylin'!

Try it on, Zoey!

Getting it checked out.

Her first steps

"Oh Mommy, you are always taking my picture."

Close up view.

We are very happy with the choice to go for the fun print. It looks wonderful and the dark color will hide the dings and scratches that she will get on it.
{Knowing Zoey...there will be many!}
We also won't have to worry about it not tanning with the rest of her body in the summer.
NOT riding home in the wheelchair today! Hooray!

We are now going to hunker down with the sick kids--Chloe and SaraGrace both have fevers and Kate looks like she is coming down with whatever it is. It's snowing and we are supposed to get almost another foot of snow! We currently have about 2 feet already, so I'm wondering where the road crews are going to put it? So many of the roads here have no shoulders so they are getting narrower and narrower. The kids and I are all hoping for a snow day tomorrow and our chances are looking pretty good.

Zoey's leg is just fabulous. I especially love the colorful print. I can't wait to hear how the snow storm turns out. West MI hasn't had a single snow day from school because all our storms happen on the weekend. Our 12 year old is rather annoyed. Hugs!!

Totally cool choice on the print Zoey! My oldest daughter actually has a dress made out of fabric like that ~ it's always been one of my favorites!
Wonderful to see that smile!

I am tellin' you, I stand in awe of Zoey's resiliency! Wow, she is amazing. And her new leg is very chic. VERY.

I can't decide if I'm insanely jealous of your mounds of snow or not. I just love a good blizzard so much! But gosh, spring is sounding so good to me right now. OK, I think I'll take one more big snow storm, then order me up some warm weather. Yes, that's what I'll do.

How exciting for Zoey! Love the color choice...what an awesome kiddo. I'm waiting for the health dept to quarentine our house--in 3 weeks we have had flu, step throat, ear & sinus infection & strep skin infection...

This little girl's smile lifts my heart and brings joy each time I see it! What a beautiful color choice for her new leg. Watching the weather IN AMAZEMENT on the news and seeing what you dear folks on the East coast are receiving. Can't seem to make myself jealous at all. Be safe on the roads and may those ill children recovered quickly.

I haven't kept up in a while...busy, busy...adoptiong paperwork, fundraising, but what a blessed post to be the first for my catch-up time.
I read about the other children from China in the post below..and more tears.
May the world reach out with the love of Jesus!
BTW, Caleb will be stationed just a couple of hours from home...he'll be in GA next month!
