The Sun is Shining Here in New England

I thought that winter in New England would be brutal, especially since we are farther north than when we lived in Michigan. However, I have been happily surprised by the relatively warm weather we have had. It snows...yes, but it is usually in the 30's or 40's during the day. I can deal with that. I guess we must be close enough to the ocean to give us a more temperate climate. Works for me!

Today it was sunny and in the 40's with no wind, so it felt much warmer. We headed outside to play.

"Mom! Watch me!"

This little car is worth its weight in gold. We've had it since Ryan and Taylor were young and the wheels are about worn through.

Same goes for this Hippity Hoppity ball. It's ancient.

"I'm an excellent driver."

"Hello? Oh, hi, Grandma...."

"Oh yes, me too. Can you believe it?"

"Oops. I guess I drove off course while talking on my phone."

And a bit later....her car was seen abandoned in the ditch.

"Who left the scene of this accident?"

"Oh...tee hee...that would be me. Sorry."

"You crazy woman driver. Here...I brought the car up for you."
"Oh, thank you. I'm quite embarrassed."

"I mean, REALLY embarrassed."

"Oh well...I'm over it now. I'll just zip around on this rental while my big car is in the shop. Ta-ta!"

Gosh, their cute. I'm honestly surprised at your mild winter. Rumor has it, that we may hit the 40s in a few days in West MI. Bring it on!!!

No fair that you New Englanders had a nicer day than we North Carolinians did! boo. The wind is howling and the sleet is whipping around outside-lovely! No beautiful outdoor pics like yours on my blog for a few more days. Glad you could enjoy a sunny day!

I can't wait to head outside in just a jacket. Spring is on the way, I just know it!

Bahahaha! Just imagine, Karin...all those little kiddos are going to be driving real cars at the same time in the not so distant future. Now THAT will be so fun! You may have to sell ads on your blog to pay for the insurance.

It's sunny outside here in south central Michigan, which is a happy surprise since the forecast called for a lot of clouds. I just opened the door to let our dog in and I could smell a bit of Spring in the air. It was glorious!

Wow, you got the sun and we got the snow! This is probably it for us though. Spring starts in a few weeks, afterall. I was just wondering how big your garage is. How many drivers will be under your roof at one time??? I want photos of mom and dad when they all start driving!!!
