Resurrecting the blog for a Heritage Trip to China!

Tomorrow we begin the first leg of our first ever Heritage Trip to China.  Jillian, Molly and Chloe are the first of our children to make the trek back to their homeland.  My mom will also be joining us.  Jeff will stay home with the younger kids and hold down the fort.

We are getting so excited!  I haven't been to China since we adopted Zoey and Kate in 2009 and am so anxious to show the older girls their homeland.  The government has a special program for adoptees that offers free Heritage tours within China.  So we pay the international flights and my mom and I pay tour fees.  It's a wonderful opportunity and since Jillian is graduating this year, we decided it was time to make the trip.

Passports.  Check.
Suitcases.  Check.
Snacks.  Check.
Excitement.  CHECK!

We leave for the first leg of the trip tomorrow afternoon.  We have an early flight out of Nashville on Saturday so we decided to spend the night there tomorrow.  We will arrive in Beijing on Sunday afternoon.  Can't believe we are actually doing this!  Squeal!

As an added bonus, we found out after signing up that friends of ours who adopted during some of the same periods of time as we did are also going on the trip!

Oh, its so good to hear from you. I have been missing your blog
Have followed since before you moved to the Boston area.
The kids were just little guys then.

So happy for the girls to take this Heritage trip...what a great
experience for them and you.

You all have a wonderful time...would love to hear about the trip
when you return.

I can't even tell you how excited I am for you! We have never met I have only followed your blog...Somehow I lost track of you and I was actually thinking about all the kids this week and was so mad I could not remember the name of your blog - and then this was in my mailbox! I am so happy to be reconnected to you! Have FUN!

From time to time, for the past 2years,I occasionally check in to this page and begin wondering when will you find time to write again about the fam. I miss reading about the kids since I bumped into your page and followed you back in 2011/2012 I think.

Welcome back. I wonder how the kiddos look like now. Please post pics of them. From,
