We have been traveling the past week and today we paid a visit to a friend who has some beautiful horses. The kids had a blast!
The kids climbed the gate as our friend, Margie, when out to get the horse they would ride.
His name was Sundance and the kids took turns brushing him to get him ready to ride. He has one blue eye and one brown eye. So cool!
They decided that the fairest way to take turns was to go by birth order. Molly and Zoey missed out because they were heading home with Jeff, who had to be back to work (and I don't have enough room in my van to take everyone home in a few days).
Chloe absolutely LOVED riding.
SaraGrace loved riding, but she loved the horsey even more and was quite concerned about every little nick on him.
Margie got the horse to trot a bit which brought a look of great wonder and delight to Jordan's face.
Margie patiently took Sundance all over the arena with each one of the kids.
Even mom got a turn. I haven't been on a horse in many years.
Luckily from far away, no one can see my jiggling thighs.
This is one of their new colts. SO incredibly beautiful!
Thank you, Margie, for a wonderful afternoon. We had so much fun!!
