Black Sunday

It's breathtaking in its arrogance.

It's repulsive in its bribery and deals made in secret.

Men and women, drunk with power, forcing their wills on people who overwhelmingly did NOT want this...

This health care takeover...

If I have to hear one more time about the Europeans I might gag. Hello? When have we EVER. EVER. EVER. wanted to be like Europe? Wasn't America started by men and women trying to escape Europe? And didn't they fight to the death to birth this country?

But hey...now everyone who works for a small business will get health care. You might only have a job for a few more months before that small business goes bust because they can't afford to give you health care, but at least you had it for a few months, right? Ya know...'cause those Democrats say that no one should have to chose between their house and having health care. I guess it's okay not to have a job anymore, though, since you'll still be gettin' that free health care. Wooo... So if you get pneumonia when you're living in a box under the interstate bridge, don't worry, because you'll be able to go to the doctor.

And what about that great new law that says you can keep your kid on your health care plan until he/she is 26 year old? Well, that's just fabulous! Although, not sure why that is necessary since if your kids aren't on your health care they could just get it from Obama anyway. So what's the big deal?

Wow...we are just so lucky that we have such smart people who know what is good for us...because we Americans are just too dumb to know a good thing when we see one. (Apparently those super smart people haven't read history books to know that America isn't Europe, and it is supposed to a government OF the PEOPLE, FOR the PEOPLE, BY the PEOPLE. Get it? It's the PEOPLE'S government and a huge majority of Americans did not want this bill. It's super lucky that we have these brilliant people taking care of us and trying socialism again--especially since they don't remember history to know that socialism has never worked. They probably have a better way to do it, right? I guess when your brain cells are so superior, you don't need to remember history. And I guess that old guy back in the 1860's who said that 'those who fail to remember the past are condemned to repeat it' was just irrelevant. What was his name? Oh yeah...Abraham Lincoln.)

I am super excited that the IRS is going to be running the health care program, aren't you? They are going to hire 16,500 more IRS agents to help make sure no one is cheating. I feel so safe now. I'm also so happy to know that you and I will be paying the salaries of those 16,500 IRS agents. Everyone has to pay their fair share, don't you think? Gee...it's a veritable utopia.

Oh...and it's also so wonderful that we won't have to hear those horrific stories about mom's who can't get care for their sick kids. I guess those super smart people don't know that every child who is very sick is considered special needs and can get Medicaid. But if that was widely known by us--the stupid people--then they wouldn't be able to milk those sad stories for all they're worth.

Al Sharpton said on camera yesterday that everyone who voted for Obama knew that they were voting for socialism. I distinctly remember Obama himself--on the campaign trail--mocking those who called him a socialist. Liar, liar, pants on fire.... If being a socialist is such a great thing, why do you have to pretend to be something else to get elected?

We are so lucky to be sticking it to those evil rich people. You know the ones. They buy the things that small businesses make. They work long hours to build companies that can hire people like you and me. From those companies, they give us jobs. Wow...that sure ticks me off. I am so mad that my husband has a job and we have a house, health care and money for the things we need. And those awful rich doctors...don't get me started. Just because they had to spend many years studying hard in medical school, have to get up every day at 4AM to do hospital rounds and then spend the rest of the day seeing patients or doing surgeries, pay huge fees to malpractice insurance, pay for the buildings that patients visit, and go home at 7 or 8PM, doesn't mean they should make more money than me, right? Who cares if they are brilliant and could save my life someday? I think we should stick it to them. It's not fair that I'm not as smart as they are and am not able to be a surgeon. I shouldn't have to make less money.

I don't know about you, but I'm sure going to sleep better tonight knowing that the seniors in this country will be losing a lot of Medicare benefits and my tax dollars will be going to fund abortions. Everyone knows that the old, sick and the very young are just a drain on the health care system anyway. We are so lucky that Bart Stupak finally saw the light and decided to vote yes, even though everyone else knew that the Executive Order preventing abortion funding wasn't worth squat. (And yes, the Democrats actually DID say that they wanted abortion funding in the bill because otherwise we would have a lot more babies born and that would mean more people needing health care.) No respect for the old or the young...

Chilling, isn't it?
